Questions?

How do I keep track of boxes when moving?

Create a box in Packed, give it a name and destination, and add its contents. Print and attach its QR label. When you unpack, scan the label to open the box, or search for an item to see where you packed it.

Can I use Packed for long-term storage?

Yes. Use locations like Attic, Garage, or Storage Unit A12. Add notes and photos to remember what you put away. Update a box’s location when you move it, without replacing its QR label.

Do I need a special label printer?

No. Print labels on ordinary paper and attach them to your boxes. Choose boxes and copy counts in Print Labels to arrange up to four labels per page. You can also save a single label as an image, or use your browser’s print dialog to save a PDF.

Can someone read my inventory by scanning a label?

The QR code contains a private lookup token, not your inventory. Opening the box requires the account that owns it. The printed label itself visibly shows the box name, location, and owner, so choose those details with care.

Can I organize belongings for my family?

You can assign an owner’s name to each box in your workspace, making it easier to tell whose belongings are inside. This organizes people’s things within your account; it is not a shared family login or an invitation system.

Does it work on my phone, tablet, and laptop?

Yes. Packed adapts to phones, tablets, and desktop screens. Use your phone while packing or scanning, and a larger screen to organize your inventory and print labels. You can also add the web app to your home screen.
